This is a very nice either moth or butterfly carved out of bakelite. It is a pretty color of yellow and has a c clasp pin back on it indicating it is probably from the 20's era. This piece is 2" long and 1.5" wide. It is in very good pre-owned condition. The insect's body is a gold tone metal. This would make a great gift for those who collect bakelite pieces or antique brooches.
