I’m pretty sure this is a old reproduction of a rare vintage collington francaise statue clock. The original was made in France and this one I acquired from a New York City West Village shop back in 1994. The company logo with fleur de lis and Made in USA illustrated in last photo. Even now it’s still antique or at least vintage.
Measures just over 9” wide, 7” tall and 3” deep. It’s quite heavy like you’d find in a door stop but it’s indeed a mantle clock. I thought it was bronze but most likely iron as some of the bronzing has worn off over time. It works great and has a single AAA batteries to run the clock. Movement is KIENZLE QUARTZ GERMANY.
